Sightseeing Locations outside of London

There are many locations of historical importance on the outskirts of London which make great days out at all times of the year, regardless of whether you are by yourself or with the family.

Two gems found within an hour and a half of London are Windsor Castle and Hampton Court Palace. Both are unique in their own right and deserve at least a whole day dedicated to them. Further out of London is the site of Stonehenge, another popular sightseeing location due to its enchantment and legendery status.
